A giovedì, come sempre a casa Vanilia & Comics, dalle 19 in poi.
I'm overworked but I keep on sketching :) I really can't wait for this hard time to end but I'm hanging in there. By the way, God bless the Bach flowers remedies and my new passion for crystals, thanks to whom I'm finding my balance :)
These days - actually weeks - I'm working all day long on an endless booooooooring project as a graphic designer and have no time for me :( It is robbing all my energy and this makes me feel very sick. But money is money, so let's roll up our sleeves. No time for drawing, no time for painting, no time for thinking, no time for satisfaction. All I can do is dive into music. This winter mix by Goldroom is perfect for working. It made my day lighter :) Enjoy!
More about my love for space disco: these two little gems have been strong points in my early career as a dj. In the age when cdjs and MP3s were far in the future, the only way to discover old/new hits was to dig into a dusty carton of records at the nearest flea market. That's where I found them, intrigued by their trashy 70s sleeves. No bet could have been more successful :)
Here is my latest work. I have made it for the launch of qlikco.com, a brand new open source content management platform for creative professionals, community leaders and volunteers, students and teachers.
What's more collective and productive than ants? :)
Yestarday I went practicing decoration at a REAL ceramic studio. I used traditional water-based ceramic colours and special pastels made of the same pigments. Apart of the fact that the plaster tiles on the walls made it like I was going back to school, I really had a lot of fun and I would like to continue practicing :)
This is the first part done, now let's wait for the Captain to be glazed in a few days :)
Do you know why I love the Queen? Because they never stop surprising me. I did completely forget about this song and now it's like I heard it for the first time :) Isn't it absolutely cool? Modern? Fashionable? DAMN SEXY?
Hello everyone and happy new year! This is my latest illustration for the q|LAB project, a weekly gig in Milan. For this season's communication, they assigned a chapter of the "History of Chaos" to each single gig to be illustrated, in turn, by a different artist.
I was assigned to chapter 16, "Eroma":
"Ogni cometa cessò il proprio viaggio e Chaos interruppe il suo lamento. Poi chiamò la rosa "Eroma", ed essa iniziò a brillare." "Every comet ceased their journey and Chaos broke his lament. Then he named the rose "Eroma" and it started shining."
I really enjoyed making it: the connection between the words and my imagination was instant and every step was clear in my mind in five minutes and then from the draft to the final it has been like flying. If only all the works were like this...
